Option 1:

• Take the N 4 towards Witbank
• Drive past Witbank and Middelburg
• Turn left on R 540 towards Belfast
• Drive through Belfast
• Stay on R 540 and drive through Dullstroom to Lydenburg
• Drive on R 36 towards Ohrigstad and JG Strijdom Tunnel
• After Tunnel on R 527 towards Hoedspruit
• 15 km before Hoedspruit turn right on the R 531 Orpen Road
towards Klaserie
• Pass Klaserie and turn left on R 531 Orpen Road
• On R 531 Orpen Road towards Orpen Gate
(Kruger National Park's Central Gate),
after 7 km turn left at signs "Bushman's Adventure Lodge"
• At Gate* (boom) turn left again and follow a dirt road
(no 4x4 necessary) for 700 m and then you will see
the parking area of Bushman's Adventure Lodge,
entrance to the Camp opposite the parking area on the
left hand side

Option 2:

• Take the N 4 towards Witbank
• Drive past Witbank and Middelburg
• Turn left on R 540 towards Belfast
• Drive through Belfast
• Stay on R 540 and drive through Dullstroom to Lydenburg
• Turn either right on the R 37 via Sabie to Graskop
(the start of the Panorama Route/Scenic Route) or drive
on R 36 towards Ohrigstad, but before Ohrigstad turn right to
Pilgrim's Rest (old Gold Digger Village) to Graskop
• From Graskop drive on the R 532 on the Scenic Route
(Stop at Three Rondawels for example)
• From Three Rondawels turn right on R 36 and drive
through JG Strijdom Tunnel
• After Tunnel on R 527 towards Hoedspruit
• 15 km before Hoedspruit turn right on the R 531
Orpen Road towards Klaserie
• Pass Klaserie and turn left on R 531 Orpen Road
• On R 531 Orpen Road towards Orpen Gate
(Kruger National Park's Central Gate),
after 7 km turn left at signs "Bushman's Adventure Lodge"
• At Gate* (boom) turn left again and follow a dirt road
(no 4x4 necessary) for 700 m and then you will see
the parking area of Bushman's Adventure Lodge,
entrance to the Camp opposite the parking area on the left
hand side

Option 3:

• Take the N 4 towards Witbank
• Drive past Witbank and Middelburg
• Turn left on R 540 towards Belfast
• Pass Belfast and stay on N 4 to Nelspruit
(the capital of the Mpumalanga Province)
• Take the R 538 via White River to Hazyview
• The R 538 goes on to the R 40 via Bushbuck Ridge
(Bosbokrand) to Acornhoek
• Pass Acornhoek towards Klaserie
• Turn right at R 531 Orpen Road
• After 7 km turn left at sign "Bushman's Adventure Lodge"
• At Gate* (boom) turn left again and follow a dirt road
(no 4x4 necessary) for 700 m and then you will see
the parking area of Bushman's Adventure Lodge,
entrance to the Camp opposite the parking area on the
left hand side

Coming from Johannesburg or Pretoria to our Bushcamp:

(Attention: Speed limit in South Africa: 120 km!
Traffic Police all over, drive slowly and keep left)
From Kruger National Park (exit gate: ORPEN) driving on the
Orpen Road R 531 to Bushman’s Adventure Lodge:
Leaving Orpen Gate you will immediately find our wooden road sign
on your left hand side. Only 35 km driving on the R 531, the second
Bushman’s Adventure Lodge/Bushman’s Tented Camp road sign
appears, also on the left hand side.
100 meters further: turn right and drive through a boom-gate and
turn immediately left after boom-gate. Follow the camp-signs on
a dirt road, after 700 m you will reach our parking area.
